Translation of the Transcription:
MUNICH, 16th April [19]18
Most Honorable
Mr. Egon Schiele
Painter
Vienna.
Dear colleague!
We greatly regret that the limited space available makes it impossible for us to
comply with your kind request to provide separate rooms in our department in
the Crystal Palace for the entire circle of artists gathered around you.
We very much hope, however, that you yourself will again be represented with your works in our summer exhibition this year and therefore ask you to once more grace our exhibition with your works this year as you did last year.
Respectfully,
President:
[Hugo Freiherr von] Habermann.
Secretary:
R. [Richard] Winternitz.
