Translation of the Transcription:

VIENNA, 31st Oct. 1918

Dear Mr. [Anton] Paeschka [!]!
Still deeply shocked by the news of Mrs. [Edith] Schiele’s death, your note that Mr. [Egon] Schiele is lying ill has alarmed me. Since I too have fallen ill with the flu, I kindly ask you to inform me immediately by letter how your brother-in-law is doing. Who is treating him?
Perhaps I could send a specialist to him as soon as I know the type of illness he has. I kindly request a definitive response.
Yours, Dr. Rieger
