Dear Mama. Please do not be cross with us because of our silence.
Egon works all day without interruption and Egon’s being home all day means much more work for me than before, especially when it comes to food, you know what a gourmet he is and it is not easy to please him. I have not been to the city, to Mariahilf
in weeks, as my mother has not been feeling well these last few days and I want to be with her as much as I can. So you see, I am not doing as well as you might think. – But I will make sure to visit you one of these days. My best regards to you and Mela and to your mother, whose acquaintance I have yet to make,
