Dear Sir!
Thank you very much for sending the Klimt article. It is a great coincidence that I, who personally also knew the artist so well, only a few weeks ago wrote a very similar article in the Brünner Zeitung about my personal impressions. A certain Mr. [Gustav] Nebehay who, I’m sure, sells only drawings by K. [Gustav Klimt] and no oil paintings, is not whom I would like to consult in this matter, since I negotiate with dealers only in the most urgent cases. I would be interested in particular in the figural painting by K. that is privately owned by the M. family, because you have described it to me as so disturbingly accomplished. If you could ask them for me, I would consider it a great personal favor.
My best regards,
Irene Beran.
