Postcard from Agathe Löwe to Egon Schiele
11th Oct. 1918
(Hinterbrühl 1888–1966 Vienna)
(Tulln 1890–1918 Vienna)
Translation of the Transcription:
Dear Sir! 11th Oct. [19]18.
Since I am unable to come today because of a model,
I hope you will allow me to come on Sunday, the 13th of this month in the afternoon for our discussion.
I will be able to bring only smaller works since my other works cannot be transported,
unless you would be so kind as to visit my studio.
Because of their larger size and the crowds on the tram I will leave the landscapes and will be able to bring only smaller portraits and nude sketches.
Very respectfully yours,
A. [Agathe] Löwe
Between
½ 5 and 6 o’clock in the afternoon, to be sure.
