Translation of the Transcription:

Dear Egon! Do me a favor and get me a revolver through [Heinrich] Böhler.
If not a Browing then a poor man’s model since then I might always have the necessary ammunition.
Please do not think poorly of me! – I really need the weapon.
At any rate, please be quick and let me know soon, very soon! – I am counting
on Böhler, who has an entire arsenal lying around unused, while some would need it
urgently! – Arar [?] is not taking care of us in this respect! Best regards, your teddy bear.
