18th Jun. 1918
(Vienna 1885–1940 Vienna)
(Tulln 1890–1918 Vienna)
Translation of the Transcription:
Dear Egon. Am in Trient.
Tomorrow I’m off to Carbonare! – [Heinrich] Rieger has purchased both pictures that I
got from your studio.
He negotiated like a Jew, however, so that I agreed to 300 crowns Lany [Richard Lányi] took the colored garden huts for 50 c. [crowns] I am not good enough at negotiating!
– Best regards to your beloved wife, your brother-in-law
A. [Anton] Peschka.
18th June 1918.
