Dear E. S. –
How would you feel about publishing a portfolio of original graphic works, etchings, lithographs and woodcuts by the “New Secession”? About 10–12 works by you, [Anton] Faistauer, [Albert Paris] Gütersloh, [Johannes] Fischer, [Georg] Merkel, [Franz von] Zülow, [Josef von] Divéky etc.
– I would like to talk to you about it, in Faistauer’s presence, to make sure there is no jealousy nor any misunderstandings. Please contact A. F. [Anton Faistauer] and bring him to see me on one of the following afternoons – except for Tuesday – at the
Avalun publishing house between 4 and 6 o’clock. The D tram stops right in front of the house.
The Pritzel doll is waiting to be rescued by you, since I did not know when you would be home for certain and have hardly had any free time lately, I have not yet brought it to you; but you could come and get it at any time.
Kind regards, your old friend:
A. R.-r.
