Postcard from Marie Schiele to Egon Schiele
29th Jan. 1916
(Krumau 1862–1935 Vienna)
(Tulln 1890–1918 Vienna)
Translation of the Transcription:
Dear Egon! We wanted to bring you something which I am sure you would like – then Edith [Schiele] told us you are spending a month on the Sofienalpe. How long have you been there? How are you? I am thinking of you all the time – if only things were back to normal, it would be good for everybody. Keep well – don’t catch a cold – I will write to you or Edith very soon! With affectionate kisses your Mama
my best regards to Edith
