The cover design for the catalogue of the 1910 Spring Exhibition of the Hagenbund was created by Rudolf Junk (1880–1943), who had succeeded Joseph Urban (1872–1933) as the main graphic designer of the Hagenbund. Junk filled the cover page with regular, symmetrical and stylized foliage, making sure that writing and ornaments created a homogeneous overall effect; an artistic design that is based on the same principles can also be found in the Catalogue of the 22nd Exhibition of the Hagenbund. Spring Exhibition. Junk was highly respected for his designs, which were also featured in the exhibitions of the Hagenbund.
