18th April 1918.

Dear Mr. Schiele!

We regret to inform you that we have given up
our exhibition venue as of last month, since
transport conditions became too difficult.
Once the war is over we will continue to
hold exhibitions of the latest art and
will then reconsider your suggestion. If you
could send us a catalogue from one of your
most recent exhibitions it would help us
remember and get an overall impression.
