Ernst Osthaus! As much as I wanted to live in the ‘dead city’ Krummau, my stay there was
equally resented. – The young painters. – Vienna, however, is inorganic for me, so I am finally in dramatic surroundings, - near Neulengbach. – On the 15th of the month at the latest a collective exhibition is opening of some of my paintings, 4 being from Krumau, at Putze’s in Munich Briennerstraße, with Anders Zorn. – In addition I intend to send you some new work, I am absolutely not a businessman, my sole concern is that I can finally be able to work, at least two or three months, regardless of income. – Whatever you wish to send me will be acceptable. – The exhibition is continuing, and completely new works will soon be added. With warm greetings!
